Step 3 – Schematic design / architectural drawings

We undertake a comprehensive site measure of your property to enable the ‘existing conditions’ plans to be drawn up. We’ll document all relevant site features like trees and fences, adjoining structures and neighbouring houses; it ensures that the subsequent architectural drawings and design takes into consideration any site constraints and ultimately, fulfills its maximum potential. From here we progress to schematic design proposals for you to review and discuss in more detail. Depending on our initial conversations in the Client Preparation stage, we may present one design route that expands on your existing ideas or a set of options that explore a number of possibilities. During this stage we will arrange for site surveys and soil testing to be completed to ensure all design options suit the site constraints and foundation requirements.
